AC motors are also fairly simple to understand. They are a little trickier to make but will need single-phase or three-phase AC power to make them work. |
RATINGS |
Motors are rated for continuous duty at an ambient of 40o C and site altitudes of upto 1000 m above sea level. |
VOLTAGE & FREQUENCY |
Motors are designed for 415±6% Volts,3 phase 50 Hz ±3% supply. Motors with different voltage( 110,220,380,400, etc)and frequency (60 Hz) are available on request |
STATOR |
High grade silicon steel laminated and pressed together and duly locked in stat or frame. |
ROTOR |
Consists of high grade silicon steel lamination duly tighten and aluminium die cast duly balanced as per I.S.S. |
COOLING ARRANGEMENTS |
Type of cooling is as per IS : 6362. All TEFC motors are having an external centrifugal fan, mounted on non driving end shaft. |
NOISE |
Motors are designed and produced for low noise levels. Our stator stacking system eliminates electromagnetic noise caused by loose stamping. All rotors are balanced on electronic dynamic balancing machine. Driving shaft & bearing seats are ground finished to close limits resulting in vibration free running. |
TESTING |
Our all products are thoroughly & vigorously tested on special Heavy Duty Test Bench and Dynamometer. All continuously rated Motors are tested on Full Load for more than Five Hours (HEAT RUN TEST) for temperature rises and the same are not permitted to exceed values prescribed as per I.S. 4722. All windings are put to insulation test with lowest rate of 1.5 to 2 KV. |
